The map in progress is being drawn as a traveler's map, so only items of interest for those wandering are being drawn, what includes mountains, forests, water masses and flows (as rivers and lakes), roads in different sizes, cities and towns, shelter resources and, if available, water resources as dwells and fountains.
Specific campaign items, as those shown as "Site of interest" in the original maps will be displayed as hand-made annotations on different versions of the maps, grouped by adventure (a group for the started set, another group for Dragon of Icesipre Peak,...) and in the order that the campaign/adventure sets (a map with only the first site of interest, a second map with the first and second sites of interest...).
Original map hexagons have been replaced by 5-mile squares, that can be shown or hidden by map version.
Geographic items, specifically trees and mountains are not being drawed, so woods and mountain areas will be displayed in color. This is not usual in ancient maps, but I think it gives a colourful touch while keeping the scene clean and simple.
Regarding the attached image, only a hatching shadow along the coast is pending to be done. Chances are, however, that an ancient style banner was put on the upper right corner indicating the map name together with the author, ie, the famous cartograph Osmund Steigmeyer.
Lastly, map is fully vectorial and is being developed in A0 format, so high resolutions are feasible.
